Settling In

Chris has his first day of work today. Jazzy is having fun and being a good girl in quarantine. I am online researching "hobs and hoods," or a cooktop. Our apartment did not come with any kitchen appliances. The things we take for granted! So, we have a refrigerator coming tomorrow and we bought an electric kettle to boil water for coffee for now. We have wireless internet and "aircon" in the 3 bedrooms (although the common spaces are not cooled). Our apartment is bigger than our townhouse was, surprisingly, and we are quite happy with the layout and particulars of the space. I will post pictures of the housing soon.
For now, here are some "around town" pics...

Heading to Singapore!!

Melissa here...Jazzy Rascal is on a blogging reprieve as she is locked up (I mean quarantined) in the lush facilities at  Sembawang Animal Quarantine Station operated by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore.
It really is quite nice and I am sure Jazzy is having a grand 'ole time. But we sure can not wait to have her home with us! So for now, I will be posting on the last week's events---

CHRISTMAS-

We had a wonderful time with family and was joyed to have Sarah (my sister) and her friend Kim come home for the Holidays. Kim brought Maddy who quickly became fast friends with Jazzy!
Christmas with the O'Neill kids. P.s..note my awesome 'red, white and blue' loom bracelet that Connor made me to "remind me of home." awwww

PARTY TIME-
As the house was packed and the holidays were winding down, Chris and I had one last party at our former townhouse. Thanks to all our friends and family that made the party a huge success. We had so much fun and were honored to share our last few days with the ones we love. If you could not make it, know you were missed and drinks were shared in your name ;)

Here are a few party pics...
